Penny Garth Café in Hawes

Penny Garth Café has been a popular meeting point in the Yorkshire Dales for Motorcyclists, Cyclists, Campers, Families, Day-Trippers, Car Enthusiasts and Walkers alike for decades.

It’s the ideal place for a large mug of Yorkshire Tea and a Bacon Butty after a long winding ride through the Dales National Park.

If you are just having a Breakfast before setting off for a ride through the Dales, meeting up with friends, having a break or just need a place and cuppa to warm up after trail riding in the rain, snow and cold, you are always welcome here at Penny Garth Cafe.

We are conveniently situated on the A684.

We offer a wide selection of Snacks and hot meals for Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Evenings.

Monday : 10.00am - 4.00pm

Tuesday : 9.00am - 4.00pm

Wednesday : 9.00am -4 .00pm

Thursday : 9.00am - 4.00pm

Friday : 9.00am - 9.00pm

Saturday and Sundays : 8.00am and 9.00pm.

( if the weather is nice we open earlier and stay open longer)

Bike Magazine have selected us again for one of their Ride Out features. The challenge is a giant figure 8 around Great Britain with Hawes and Penny Garth Cafe at the heart. With so many fantastic biking roads leading to and from Hawes its going to be some interesting ride outs and write ups. We will be open all Winter, so if you are attempting the ride, rest assured that we will be open for you.
